WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE CLASS |

Arrive five to ten minutes early to allow plenty of time to prepare. Avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours prior to practice. Your practise will be much lighter and comfortable on an empty stomach. Remove shoes prior to entering the studio. Turn off all mobile phones and pagers before entering the studio. Avoid heavy fragrances or scents. What to wear – because you will move a lot and sweat during class, it is suggested you wear snug clothing with sleeveless tops. But most importantly, wear clothing that makes you comfortable. (What not to wear – socks, we practice with bare feet.) Mention any pre-existing injury or medical conditions prior to class so we can help modify your practice to enhance your experience. Always practice at your own level for that day. Let your breath be your guide in class. Come with an open heart and mind, take your practice seriously but yourself lightly and don’t forget to have fun! Smiles and laughter are encouraged.
